Custom Kraft Wrapping Paper

Kraft is the format that survived the shift away from plastic-laminated wrap, and it did it on merit: it is strong for its weight, it takes a one or two colour print with a lot of character, and it goes in the paper recycling without anybody having to think about it.

The brown reads honest rather than cheap, which is exactly what a lot of brands now want. Natural white kraft gives you a lighter ground if the brown is fighting your palette, at a small premium.

One or two colours is not a limitation here so much as the point. A single dense ink on kraft looks considered; four-colour process on brown stock looks muddy, because the paper is not white and never pretends to be. We will steer you away from process on kraft.

Can I print a photo on kraft?

You can, and it will look muddy. Kraft is not white, so process colour sits over a brown ground and loses its highlights. One or two dense spot colours is what makes kraft look expensive.
